Congratulations to all those who competed today at the first Hardwick Sprint Triathlon. As mentioned at the presentation, a big thanks to members of Tewkesbury Triathlon Club, the owners of Croft Farm, the support team from Leisure Lakes Bikes and of course our sponsors Asics and Science In Sport for their continued support in all the events we organise.
We will be transferring the results from the event over to our site shortly but for the moment they are available HERE. Photos of the event will be available to purchase through the site by Wednesday, for further information please email jon@gogglepedaltrainer.com.
We hope everyone enjoyed the race and to see you all at one of our events in the future.

With 21 entries left we could be full by Saturday so if you're thinking about entering I would get your entry in asap. If the limit is reached then we will instantly be compiling a reserves list but even this will be limited.

Registration times are now available, please note you can register on the Saturday afternoon as well as early Sunday. Around 35 entries left, if the limit is not reached by this weekend then we may accept entries until next Tuesday, more details to follow...
31.07.09In agreement with the local Police Authority the event limit has been reduced to 200 which means we have less than 50 entries left and will be accepting entries until 8th August. We aim to have the Race Information pack by the end of this weekend.

Route maps for the Hardwick Sprint Triathlon have now been added, a finalised race information pack will be added 3 weeks prior to the event. Entries are coming in pretty quickly now so if you are thinking about entering it's best to do so quickly.

We are proud to annouce top sports brand Zone3 will be supporting the Hardwick Sprint Triathlon. Zone3 are a British brand established by elite triathlete James Lock and their wetsuits are regularly seen appearing first out of the water at events (their top of the range wetsuit recently awarded 9/10 by 220 Triathlon magazine).

Report - The final race of the 2009 Tewkesbury Aquathlon Series was held in perfect conditions and with the run course slightly shortened due to a brass band practice but there were no complaints from competitors....

Results - Congratulations to all those who took part in the final race of the 2009 Tewkesbury Aquathlon Series, it was a beautiful day and hopefully everyone enjoyed it. Results are provisional until tomorrow so if you have any queries please let us know soon, as of Tuesday morning they will be final. Series results are also now available, a race report and photos will be up later in the week.
Our thanks go to all the volunteers from Tewkesbury Athletics Club and Tewkesbury Triathlon Club, the Tewkesbury School Duke of Edinburgh team for refreshments and our supporters Science in Sport, Up & Running and Leisure Lakes Bikes for their support throughout the series. The weather looks good for the next 2 days but there has been a fair bit of rain over past week so a report on the condition of the field will be available here tomorrow afternoon.

Entries still being accepted for Sunday's race, if you plan on entering on the day please email us your name and estimated start time, you will need to fill out an entry form on the day. If you do not include your date of birth then you will not be eligible for age group prizes.

Race Report - The 2009 Tewkesbury Aquathlon Series was once again blessed with beautiful weather and with a record number of entrants everyone was in store for an excellent days racing. Recent dry weather meant the field was in much better condition that the first 2 races of this year's series many people were looking at improving on previous times over the course....

Results - Congratulations on all those who raced today at Round 2 of the Tewkesbury Aquathlon Series. It was slightly warmer than recent weeks but not helped by a chilly breeze making it hard going out on the course. There were excellent perfomances with many competitors improving from the January event. Photos and a race report will be available very soon.

Start times for Round 2 of the Tewkesbury Aquathlon Series are now available on the event page here. We have altered the start times so competitors up to number 35 will be started every minute, 35 onwards started every 30 seconds. We still have some spaces available to enter on the day, but if you plan to do so please email or call 07852175228 / 01452780544 in advance.
The field is in fair condition, quite soft due to recent weather and the run course will be slightly amended (Course map) but we do advise people to bring trainers with plenty of tread as it will become muddier through the race. The wettest part, once again, is where you will join the field but we will alter the route slightly and avoid this.
You will be notified of any changes during the race briefing so please do not miss it!

Just under a week until Round 2 of the Tewkesbury Aquathlon Series and with recent weather it can be hard to get that excited. Good news however, checking the BBC weather forecast for Tewkesbury we could, yet again, be blessed with a clear sunny day! A review on the condition of the field will be posted here later in the week.

The forecast does not look too positive so be sure to bring plenty of warm clothes for afterwards.

Entry lists for the Aquathlon Series have been updated. We hope to put a list of Start Times on the site after Saturday post, i.e before lunchtime. If you have entered then we will email you when it is available. Current outlook for the weekend looks to be relatively warm (click here to go to the BBC's 5 day forecast for Tewkesbury) but having looked at the condition of the field last weekend, it could be a bit muddy. We will notify competitors of any course alterations at registration and during the race briefing.

EVENT DATE CHANGE: Unfortunately Round 2 of the 2009 Aquathlon Series has been moved from 22nd February a week earlier to the 15th February. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and full refunds are available if current entrants are unable to attend.

Results - Report - The 2008 Tewkesbury Aquathlon Series has been blessed with dry weather at each race and this was no different for the final race held today where at the end of a very wet week the field was in good condition and thanks to a recent cut, was ripe for some personal bests from earlier races of the series......
